VARIWIND
External “Cold” Air Barrier
The common issue with all traditional hot air barriers is the difficulty in “stopping” very cold air from infiltrating inside the building through door openings.
VARIWIND, the subject of numerous patents (Patent-pending), uses untreated outdoor air to significantly reduce the cold air attempting to infiltrate into the building, without the need for thermal energy.
I PLUS
Easy to install on the outside of the building, VARIWIND does not create internal space obstructions that could cause limitations.
The variable airflow operation allows for reduced electric consumption in relation to external weather conditions.
Its high effectiveness in counteracting the infiltration of cold air not only increases the building’s energy efficiency but also significantly improves the comfort of operators working near the doors, reducing the airflow caused by external infiltration.
Materials
VARIWIND air barriers are entirely constructed with stainless materials (zinc-magnesium alloy).
This alloy is created through a special treatment that adds 3.5% aluminum and 3% magnesium to the zinc composition.
This process enhances the surface layer of the material, making it more resistant to corrosion compared to high-quality products like stainless steel 316 or aluminum. All fasteners used are made of stainless steel.
VARIWIND is designed to be installed outdoors and to withstand many years of use with minimal maintenance.
Maximum Performance in Any Condition
To ensure the corrosion-resistant properties of all components and provide access to the internal parts of the VARIWIND air barrier, the assembly technique is exclusively mechanical and does not involve any welding.
The air blade of each module is made up of elements that allow for the adjustment of the launch angle, enabling maximum performance in any condition.
The fluid dynamics study has enabled the design of a blade with depth and airflow characteristics that allow for very deep throws, ensuring the effective treatment of industrial doors over 10 meters in width.
The height of the doors is no longer an obstacle, as it is sufficient to include additional fan modules and blade modules with vertical development.
